H1 CIRCLE DANCING for WELL-BEING

Presenter:  Lyn Porter  0423 122 145

Venue:        Church of the Epiphany Hall, Crafers

Day:            Thursday – weekly (except school hols)

Starts:         6th February to 10th December 2020.

Time:           1:30pm - 3:00 pm

No prior learning required however students must be able to stand and move unaided, and be medically capable of participating in a dancing class with gentle to moderate exercise.

As we age our health and well-being become more important.  Circle Dancing addresses these on many different levels and often we notice our balance improves, we remember and retain things for longer and are generally happy and more content. Through simple steps such as walking, swaying, step touch etc in an accepting positive circle, moving to uplifting music from around the world we learn about different cultures and musical styles and have a lot of fun too. All dances are carefully taught each week.

A gold coin donation each session to cover Lyn’s expenses in maintaining equipment, preparing notes and developing resources.
