Dancing No prior learning required however participants must be able to stand and move unaided, and be medically capable of participating with gentle to moderate exercise. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for dancing, and bring a water bottle. A gold coin donation to cover the Presenter's expenses please.

Forget about your cares and worries, don your dancing shoes and breathe in the serenity of beautiful gardens of the delightful venue. All our dances are carefully taught each week & involve easy to learn dance steps such as walking, swaying, step touch, grapevines..... to uplifting music from around the world. We love learning about different cultures through dance and music & having fun with the friends we make in the class.

Experience the well-being benefits of gentle dance in this welcoming and relaxed environment. Together we enjoy learning dances from around the world, listening to truly uplifting music, a laugh and a chat over a cuppa during the morning tea break. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
H3 COME TRY GENTLE YOGA & CHI KUNG

Yoga and Chi Kung increase the flow of energy and stimulate circulation in the body while improving coordination, posture & balance and encouraging deeper breathing habits to support the health of the the whole body.
Lis is a qualified yoga teacher of 20 years. This gentler style benefits all body types and fitness levels and participants exercise within their own range of comfort and ability. Chairs are used for some postures and are optional for most of the practice.
Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one (some mats will be available for use in the class), a light blanket and cushion for relaxation and a bottle of water. If you have had recent surgery or are receiving medical treatment, please seek the advice of your doctor before joining this class. Members will be asked to complete a Health Release form on arrival.

CIRCUIT, BALANCE AND STRENGTH (not a U3A activity)

Venue: Heathfield Football Club
Day: Mondays 10.45am & Thursdays 10.30am (all year)
Cost: $10.00 (or $16.00 if twice a week) payable to Shannon on the day
General fitness and strength training using equipment and weights after general warm up exercises, with circuit training usually on Thursdays. As this is not a U3A activity, for further information phone Shannon 0403 574 614 or Dorothy 0403 574 614 or attend a session to try it out. A water bottle, and a mat or towel for floor exercises is recommended. Please be on time for the start of the class to enable 'warming up'.
* Participants are advised to have a medical check before enrolling if they have cardiac, lung or joint problems and speak to Shannon about the results.


O4 WEDNESDAY WETLAND WALKERS

Walk around Laratinga Wetlands at your own pace and choose short or long walks. Enjoy good company and an optional coffee after in the BBQ area. Hat, walking shoes and water advisable.
