Blues music has been a major influence on most music genres (except classical) over the last century. Discover the men and women who have had significant careers in this genre and listen to their music.
How much do you know about American greats like the three Kings (Freddy, Albert and B.B.), Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Marcia Ball? Who are the Australian artists that have had a major impact? Do you know of the latest generation of artists from Europe and England (Ana Popovic, Aynsley Lister and Marcus Bonfanti).
Come and listen to their works and, if you have favourite artists, bring along your CDs to share.

Please bring your own ukulele or borrow from the grandchildren. An informal ‘strum-up’ for budding or old ukulele players. Mark will provide music and transcriptions to simple keys so that we don’t have to tackle more than 3 or 4 chords in each piece.
