U3A Adelaide Hills has a membership of over 300 people.  Members are drawn mostly from the Mount Barker and Adelaide Hills local government areas, but also from further afield.  

In accordance with the world-wide U3A ethos, we are wholly volunteer managed and run and rely on members to contribute their particular skills and knowledge to the program, to join the management committee or assist in other ways such as setting up venues.

Our objectives include providing members with:

• a broad range of intellectual, physical and social development opportunities

• opportunity to participate in community-based activities

• activities that encourage investigation of topics and shared interests

• a learning culture that is free from discrimination and in which experience and expertise are recognised and shared
